“Moor & more” Törfchen circular hiking route

“Moor & more” Törfchen circular hiking route

Description

This loop starts at the large car park near to the Römerhof inn. It is particularly suitable for families with small children or for walkers seeking a leisurely outing. Cross the small stream and follow the forest road. Be sure to pick up the puzzle book at the tourist information office in advance and turn this loop into a puzzle-solving tour. You will soon see the first play equipment on your right, promising lots of fun and frolics. There are a large number of information boards featuring key facts about the moorland, play areas and overview plans. From this point on, simply keep following the signposts. This circuit is indicated with a sticker of the little elf named “Törfchen”. The trail, which is not particularly steep, leads through the well-shaded forest as well as some sunny sections. Don’t forget: if very young children have already tired themselves out playing, that’s no problem at all. This circuit is also pushchair-friendly. Afterwards, you can head to the Gasthof Römerhof inn for a relaxing refreshment stop. For those who are still full of energy, the exciting forest play area is just waiting to be discovered.
At the end of the hike, and when every square is punched out, young moorland explorers can pick up a small surprise gift at the tourist office in St. Johann in Tirol.
