Wildparkweg 5, Aurach bei Kitzbühel

Description

The Aurach wildlife park impresses with its unique location with panoramic views of the Kitzbühel Alps and its 350 animal residents: you can see red deer, fallow deer and mouflon in Tyrol's largest outdoor enclosure as well as ibex, lynx, wild cats, yaks, snowy owls, eagle owls, alpacas and many more other animals.

On the approximately 1-hour circular route you will encounter red deer, fallow deer and mouflon without any separating fences. Visitors have the opportunity to get very close to our game - of course with a sufficient safe distance, because wild animals are not pets and must not be touched!

Wildlife feeding
The impressive game feeding at the large feeding area takes place at 2.30 p.m., except during the rutting season in autumn.

Streichlstadl
A highlight for children is the Streichlstadl, where alpacas, llamas, dwarf goats, sheep, donkeys, mini Shetland ponies, dwarf rabbits and guinea pigs live and are waiting to be petted by the guests. Every Saturday, Sunday and public holiday at 1.30 p.m. there is a supervised feeding session especially for children in the Streichlstadl.

Gasthaus Branderhofstube
Directly in front of the entrance to the wildlife park is the cozy Branderhofstube guesthouse with a large sun terrace and children's playground. Our team will spoil you with local delicacies, homemade strudels made like Grandma’s, delicious ice cream sundaes and refreshing drinks. Fresh herbs from the in-house stone herb garden are used in dishes and also in drinks such as our herbal wild berry cocktail. The inn can also be booked for private parties or private parties in the evening.
